Grace Turkis
Grace Turkis is the Vice President of Programs and Training at Coro Northern California, a nonprofit organization with a mission to train, support, and connect leaders to foster a thriving democracy and tackle society’s biggest challenges together. She brings more than 20 years of experience in leadership development across higher education, health care, and nonprofit settings.
Before joining Coro, Grace served as the Director of Leadership Development at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health, where she led programs that cultivated leadership capacity among students and professionals in public health. Previously, she was the Director of Operations at the Institute for Physician Leadership and the Pharmacy Leadership Institute at the UCSF Center for Health Professions, overseeing the design and delivery of leadership programs for clinical leaders across California.
Grace holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Pennsylvania State University. She is also a Certified Professional Coach and a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner.
